Iran's neighboring countries are concerned about the conflict between the Islamic Republic and Israel and are afraid of being drawn into an armed confrontation. This was reported by Bloomberg on June 16.

According to the newspaper, Iran may attack the oil infrastructure in the region, but it is unlikely to do so, as Tehran has been working for the past two years to restore relations with its neighbors.

According to the agency, some Middle Eastern states have privately welcomed efforts to disrupt Iran's nuclear program, which they have long opposed. Bloomberg added that Israeli strikes could lead to catastrophic consequences for the region due to possible radiation leaks at Iranian nuclear facilities.

Earlier in the day, Bloomberg reported that oil from the Middle East was "under attack" and could be exported intermittently due to the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran. Analysts believe that the longer the conflict continues, the more likely it is that Israel will try to reduce the funds that Iran will need to rebuild its nuclear program.
