Actor, screenwriter and director Vyacheslav Bogachev died at the age of 77. This was announced on June 16 by his wife, actress Olga Bogacheva.

"Yes, he's gone," she told TASS.

Information spread in the media that the actor died on June 15 in his apartment. The cause was called acute heart failure.

Bogachev took part in dozens of film projects, including starring in the films "I Remember You", "The Romanovs: The Crowned Family" and "Mother". The last film won an award at the Cannes Film Festival in 1990 for its artistic contribution. The actor also noted roles in the TV series "In the first circle" and "Vassa".

In addition, he became a screenwriter, director and performer of one of the main roles of the film "Dark Alleys".
