Boeing specialists arrived in India to investigate the plane crash


Experts from the American aircraft manufacturer Boeing have arrived in the Indian city of Ahmedabad to analyze the circumstances of the crash of the Boeing 787-8-Dreamliner of Air India, which killed, according to the latest data, 274 people. This was announced on June 16 by NDTV.
"Boeing specialists arrived in Ahmedabad on Monday to study the details of the tragic Air India plane crash," the newspaper writes.
Earlier, the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of India (DGCA) ordered enhanced technical inspections of all Air India Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft. The liner has already undergone comprehensive maintenance in June 2023, the next one was scheduled for December this year.
The plane crash in Ahmedabad, India, occurred on June 12. There were 242 passengers on board, including two pilots and 10 flight attendants. The Boeing 787-8 crashed into a dormitory building for doctors. According to NDTV, the cause of the crash could have been a collision with birds, one of the passengers survived the crash — he turned out to be a 40-year-old British citizen.
Later, on June 13, in Ahmedabad, India, investigators found one of the two black boxes at the crash site of the Boeing 787. The second black box in the front of the aircraft has not been found at the moment.
