New flight launched between Vladivostok and Vietnam


More flights to popular resorts in Southeast Asia began to be operated from Vladivostok Airport. Thus, the Vietnamese low-cost airline VietJet Air Group (part of the Sovico Group) began operating charter flights to Cam Ranh, Nha Trang resort in Vietnam.
According to PrimaMedia news agency, flights are operated twice a week on Airbus A-321. A technical landing is planned at Hanoi Airport. It takes about 30 minutes. From Cam Ranh, you can get to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Fukuoka, as well as various points in the Asia-Pacific region.
The flight time from Vladivostok to Cam Ranh will be 7 hours and 55 minutes. It takes 7 hours and 20 minutes to get back.
According to Denis Chmutov, CEO of Vladivostok International Airport, cooperation with a major Vietnamese airline is of strategic importance for the air hub. This, among other things, will strengthen the tourist ties of the regions.
Currently, Russian carrier AZUR air operates charter flights from Vladivostok to Cam Ranh.
On May 22, it was reported that VietJet Air will launch flights from Khabarovsk International Airport to Vietnam. The first flight is scheduled for June 18. Flights from Khabarovsk will be operated twice a week — on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
