Krasnodar reservoir is awaiting reconstruction

The Krasnodar reservoir will be reconstructed in 2026. The work will be carried out within the framework of the national project "Ecological Well-being" of the federal project "Water of Russia". It started in January 2025.

According to KrasnodarMedia news agency with reference to RBC Krasnodar, the development of design and estimate documentation will begin in 2026. And a little earlier, experts will begin preparing documentation for clearing the reservoir itself and the riverbeds flowing into it — the Krasnodar Reservoir – Nizhny Kuban system.

There are also plans to clear sediments in the beds of the Belaya and Kuban rivers. Rosvodresursy will begin work on these sites in 2026. In addition, specialists must clear the water area of the reservoir from debris and wood on an area of more than 161 hectares, and remove aquatic vegetation on an area of 146.5 hectares. About 64 million rubles will be allocated for this purpose.

Earlier it was reported that starting from September 1, guest houses in Russia will be temporarily equated to hotels. The purpose of the pilot project is to regulate activities and improve consumer protection and safety. The measure will simplify the monitoring of the activities of guest houses. The law defines the requirements for the services provided. Guest houses must enter the registry and receive a unique number. 18 tourist regions were included in the experiment. The Republics of Altai, Dagestan and Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory, and the Kaliningrad Region were among the destinations. The experiment will last until the end of December 2027.
