On June 15, 225 Russians, including families of diplomats, were evacuated from Iran with the assistance of the Russian Embassy in Iran and the Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan. The Russian Embassy announced this on June 16.
"Yesterday, a group of 225 people, including children, crossed the border. We are talking about family members of employees of Russian foreign institutions, artists of the Tchaikovsky Grand Symphony Orchestra and other Russian citizens," the embassy wrote on the Telegram channel.
