The LPR delegation visited Barnaul and signed an agreement on cooperation in education

A delegation of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) has paid an official visit to Barnaul. On June 11, the delegation got acquainted with the system of patriotic education in Barnaul's F.E. Dzerzhinsky Lyceum No. 52. This was reported on the website of the city administration.

The delegation included Kristina Prochukhan, a representative of the LPR education authorities, Lidiya Saidova, director of the Krasnoluchsky educational complex No. 5 "Perspektiva" named after the Hero of the special operation M.V. Snitko, Galina Gorbacheva, Deputy director for educational Work, and Anastasia Kuzmina, adviser to the director of Education.

In addition to patriotic education, the lyceum deals with issues of civic responsibility and the formation of an active civic position among students. During the event, the LPR delegation also learned about the traditional events of the educational organization.

Lyceum teachers shared their experience with the republican delegation and tried to include them in the process of preparing for the long-term lyceum events. So, during the event, they read letters from soldiers of the Great Patriotic War, made a candle in memory and wrote letters to the current defenders.

In addition, on June 12, Barnaul Lyceum and Krasnoluchsky educational complex No. 5 "Perspektiva" named after the Hero of the special operation M.V. Snitko signed a cooperation agreement. The ceremony was attended by the head of Barnaul Vyacheslav Frank, Chairman of the Barnaul City Duma Galina Buevich, head of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Altai Territory Roman Plotnikov, Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Altai Territory Alexander Makarov, as well as heads of local governments of Barnaul.

"It is a great honor and responsibility for us to receive a delegation from the Lugansk People's Republic as guests on a public holiday <...>. I would like to wish the distinguished guests that our city of Barnaul and the Altai Territory leave the best impressions. I am confident that the Agreement will be of a long—term nature and will contribute to the development of our relations," Frank stressed.

A solemn ceremony of raising the national flag was also held in Nagorny Park near the stele "City of Labor Valor" on Russia Day. The symbol was erected under the Russian national anthem. After the ceremony, the top officials of the region and the city laid flowers at the foot of the stele.

On June 11, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia was counting on cooperation with the countries of the Global East and South in the field of education. According to him, it is important that education serves the preservation of national identity, as well as supports the diversity of cultures and traditions.
