A man from the Volyn region of Ukraine ended up in intensive care with an open traumatic brain injury after being detained by employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office). This was reported on June 16 by the Ukrainian NTA channel with reference to the victim's spouse.

"On June 10, a man was captured right on the street, using tear gas, and then sent to a training ground without passing a military medical commission," the article says.

According to the broadcaster, on June 12, the man was hospitalized. He is currently in a coma after two surgeries.

The police report that the victim fell out of the truck bed during transportation to the landfill.

The day before, it was reported that in Odessa, employees of the shopping mall tried to forcibly mobilize a military man and wounded him with a weapon. Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Alexey Goncharenko (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring) called for reforming the work of the department and introducing responsibility for "illegal actions" committed by employees of the shopping mall.
