Storm warning announced in Sochi

A storm warning has been announced in Sochi until the end of the day on June 16. The city administration announced this on June 16.

It is specified that a large amount of precipitation fell in Sochi last night, but there were no serious incidents caused by bad weather. The cyclone is currently over the sea and periodically comes ashore in the form of heavy rainfall.

"Bathing is temporarily restricted. The storm warning in Sochi is valid until the end of the day on June 16," the Telegram channel of the city administration says.

Footage from the scene appeared at the disposal of Izvestia. They show that the cyclone is over the sea — the sky is overcast, strong waves rise in the sea due to the wind.
