Scammers have started using a new scheme to involve potential victims in droppery. This was announced on June 16 by the press service of the Department for the Organization of Combating the Illegal Use of Information and Communication Technologies (UBK) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

"Citizens of the Republic of Belarus are offered an "easy income" — a one—day business trip to Russia in order to open a bank card," the Telegram channel says.

It is clarified that posts are published in Telegram and social networks, according to which citizens are promised a paid trip to Moscow, St. Petersburg and Smolensk. It is noted that during the trip, you need to issue a Russian bank card, ostensibly for processing or crypto arbitration.

According to the Interior Ministry, cybercriminals subsequently use the account to further withdraw funds. The responsibility, in turn, will be borne by the cardholder.

On May 31, the Russian Interior Ministry warned citizens about a method of fraud in which intruders force people to call them themselves by numbers that pose as "technical support" for "Public Services." It was clarified that a letter about "illegal access" to "Public Services" was sent to the potential victim's e-mail or messenger. Through the letter, the scammers urge you to contact "technical support", the number of which belongs to them.
