The court refused to transfer Alexander Pichushkin, known as the "Bitsevsky maniac," to a colony located closer to Moscow. This was announced on June 16 by a RIA Novosti correspondent from the courtroom.

Earlier, on May 26, the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) of the Russian Federation refused to transfer Pichushkin, who is serving a life sentence, from the Polyarnaya Zvezda special regime penal colony to Mordovia in order to be closer to relatives.
