Motorcycle racing world champion Nikolai Krasnikov died in an accident in Bashkiria

Eight-time world champion in the individual competition, multiple champion and winner of the Russian Cup in motorcycle racing on ice Nikolai Krasnikov died. This was announced on June 16 by the Minister of Sports of Bashkortostan Ruslan Khabibov.

"This is terrible news. This morning, Nikolai Krasnikov, the eight-time world champion in the individual competition, 12—time world champion in the team competition, multiple champion and winner of the Russian Cup in motorcycle racing on ice, died," Khabibov wrote on his Telegram channel.
