As a result of the fall of an Iranian rocket, the US Embassy in Tel Aviv was damaged.


The building of the American Embassy in Tel Aviv received minor damage as a result of the explosion of a rocket fired from Iran. This was announced on Monday, June 16, by the US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee.
"Some minor damage was recorded after rockets hit the area of the embassy branch in Tel Aviv, but there were no casualties among the American staff," Huckabee said on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
According to the diplomat, the U.S. Embassy and consulate in Israel will remain closed during the day.
On the same day, the Ynet portal reported that one of the Iranian missiles landed near the branch of the US Embassy in Tel Aviv.
On June 13, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure. In response, Iran launched several waves of missile attacks.
