A teenager killed a girl in the Tulunsky district of the Irkutsk region.


A fatal accident involving a minor driver is being investigated in the Tulunsky district of the Irkutsk region. This was reported on June 16 in the regional department of the State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI).
"It was previously established that a 13-year-old teenager, driving a Reser motorcycle, ran over two 16—year-old pedestrians who were crossing the road at an unidentified location," the traffic police Telegram channel clarified.
As a result of the incident, one of the girls died on the spot, the second was hospitalized.
The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the region added that a criminal case has been opened into the accident under Part 3 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles that negligently caused the death of a person").
The day before, three people were killed and two others were injured in an accident involving Lexus IS, Hyundai and Lexus RX cars in the Stavropol Territory. Later, traffic inspectors found that the accident was caused by the 46-year-old Lexus IS driver, who had previously been deprived of the right to drive a vehicle.
