- An eyewitness told about the situation in Haifa against the background of the Israeli attack

Sirens and sounds of repelling an Iranian attack can be heard in the city of Haifa in Israel. Ellen Zapashnaya, an eyewitness to the events, told Izvestia about this on June 16.
"Immediately after the attacks, we text sirens and ask how everyone is feeling. It's very hard for me. <...> It's very difficult to say that it's quiet now. <...> You say "quiet" and some sounds start again, sirens. We're living in one minute now. It's passed, and it's already good," she said.
In her social networks, Ellen pointed out that during the escalation of the conflict, she learned to count the time until the arrival of missiles, as well as track their flight path using special applications.
At the same time, the girl noted that the locals support each other in a difficult situation.
"You all see what's going on in public. But, fortunately, you don't hear the terrible sounds of explosions. <...> I definitely won't be the same," she shared.
Shortly before that, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced a new launch of missiles by Iran. It was reported that at least four rockets landed on the territory of the country. Eight buildings were damaged during the attack.
On June 13, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. In this regard, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure.
