- The rating of the level of employment of graduates of educational institutions has been earned in the Russian Federation

The national rating of the level of employment upon completion of studies in educational institutions was launched in Russia on June 15. This tool allows you to assess the demand in the labor market for people who have received higher or secondary specialized education, compared with graduates from other institutions.
The Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Education participated in the formation of the calculation methodology. Russian President Vladimir Putin set the task of creating the rating for the government back at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) in 2023. Work on such a mechanism is one of the activities of the national project "Cadres".
The rating shows only real "achievements" — the employment rate of former students two years after graduation and their median salary. Beyond it are assessments of the scientific contribution of universities and colleges, and the quality of student life. The indicators are calculated based on data from Rosobrnadzor, the Social Fund, information on employment and salary.
The ratings are presented by the number of graduates — above and below the median. This makes it possible to show effective educational institutions, even if a relatively small number of young people enroll there.
