Roskomnadzor is not going to remove restrictions from YouTube and Instagram

Roskomnadzor (RCN) announced on June 15 that there are currently no grounds to lift restrictions from YouTube and Instagram (owned by Meta, whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
"There are no grounds for lifting restrictions," the agency's press service told TASS.
Earlier, on May 22, the RCN called for finalizing the idea of blocking destructive content before the trial. According to Valeria Rytvina, the founder of the Bloggers' Council, the concept of destructive content is not legally fixed in the legislation, and therefore it is impossible to unambiguously determine what needs to be blocked.
