The State Duma proposed to fully reimburse personal income tax to large families

In Russia, they offered to fully reimburse personal income tax to large families. This is on Monday, June 16, follows from a bill prepared for submission to the State Duma by deputies of the LDPR faction in the State Duma, led by party chairman Leonid Slutsky.
"The current procedure excludes from the number of recipients of payments a number of families whose incomes formally exceed the specified threshold, but actually do not provide a decent standard of living (first of all, these are large families, single-parent families, families with disabled children). In connection with this bill, it is proposed to increase the threshold of average per capita income to three subsistence minimums, which will expand the range of recipients and provide more adequate and fair support," the document says, which is available to Izvestia.
The draft law also proposes to differentiate the payment calculation mechanism depending on the number of children. For families with two children, the payment is defined as the difference between the amount of personal income tax calculated from the applicant's annual income and the amount calculated from the same income in the amount of 6%.
For large families (with three or more children), a payment in the amount of fully calculated personal income tax is proposed, reflecting the need for increased state support for families with the highest expenses.
At the moment, the bill has been sent for review to the Government.
"If there are children in the family, you need to support it without any reservations. Therefore, we suggest that for families with two or more children, the criterion of need should be revised so that more families receive the payment. And families with three or more children should be refunded the paid personal income tax in full. The authorities need to realize that it is now extremely important to support not only those in need, but all those who make a significant contribution to the development of society, especially in the birth and upbringing of children," Slutsky explained.
On May 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with large families, stressed the need to create special conditions for large families. The Head of State drew attention to the fact that true family values remain unchanged for Russia.
