The Russian military liberated the Novodzerzhinskaya mine from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on June 15 by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.

"The Dzerzhinsk direction, where we can say that Russian troops have liberated the Novodzerzhinskaya mine. And our units don't stop here, they keep moving," Pushilin said in a video posted on his Telegram channel.
