Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on June 15 that the head of the intelligence Corps of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and his deputy were killed as a result of a strike by the country's Defense Army (IDF) on Tehran.
"We have just eliminated the IRGC intelligence chief and his deputy in Tehran," Netanyahu said on Fox News.
He noted that Israel is determined to complete the task of eliminating the "double threat" from Iran — the nuclear program and ballistic missiles. According to him, Israeli fighter jets are currently in the sky over "burning Tehran."
