Clashes between police and Orthodox believers took place in Chisinau
During the march of LGBT opponents (the movement is banned in the Russian Federation and recognized as extremist), police officers and Orthodox believers clashed in Moldova. The corresponding footage was published on June 15 by Sputnik Moldova.
The video shows police officers pushing a priest who took part in the march to the ground. The law enforcement officers also pulled the boy out of the man's arms, as a result of which the child hit his head on the asphalt. Later, the adult and the boy were escorted to a paddy wagon.
Natalia Paraska, the leader of the Moldovan opposition Vozrozhdenie party, commented on the corresponding riots by the police. She stressed that among the detainees there are priests, parents with children, as well as ordinary believers who stood up for traditional values.
"The police should not be a cudgel in the hands of the authorities against their own people. If the security forces in the country do not obey the law, but a political order, this is no longer a democracy, but a dictatorship under a rainbow flag," Paraska stressed.
The Ukrainian edition of "Country.On June 7, ua reported on the detention by the police in Kiev of opponents of the LGBT parade, who intervened in the course of the event right during its holding at the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country. It was clarified that the activists clashed with the police. According to the newspaper, several dozen people took part in the "parade".
