Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan praised Russia's willingness to mediate between Israel and Iran. This was announced on June 15 by the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"The Turkish side expressed high appreciation for Russia's continued readiness to undertake mediation efforts in the interests of helping to find mutually acceptable solutions to the existing contentious issues," the publication says on the agency's website.
It is specified that this also concerns issues related to the Iranian nuclear program.
