Kuban transport police officers have detained three men on suspicion of attempting to commit a terrorist act on the railway. This was reported on June 15 in the Telegram channel "MIA Media".

It is specified that the police received a message from employees of the North Caucasian Railway about partial damage to the relay cabinet near the Krasnodar-2 station. Train traffic was not disrupted. Upon arrival, the police recorded signs of intentional damage.

"Three suspects, aged 24 and 25, were detained. Two of them had previously been brought to criminal responsibility," the report says.

According to the publication, the detainees confessed that they had received an offer to commit a crime in the messenger. It is specified that they were promised a monetary reward for this. They could not bring the criminal act to an end.

A criminal case has been opened on this fact under Part 3 of Article 30 ("Preparation for a crime and attempted crime that was not completed due to circumstances beyond the control of this person") and paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act committed by a group of persons by prior agreement"). They were given a preventive measure in the form of detention.

On June 2, the Office of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Primorsky Territory stopped the illegal activities of two 19-year-old local residents who were preparing arson on a section of the Far Eastern Railway. It was clarified that they received the task to set fire to the relay cabinets from the Ukrainian special services for a monetary reward. A criminal case has been opened, and the detainees have been charged on the grounds of a crime under paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 281 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Sabotage committed by a group of persons").
