At least six people have died as a result of the collapse of a bridge into a river in Indian Pune. This was reported by The Free Press Journal on June 15.

It is specified that the whereabouts of about 25-30 people are unknown. According to the newspaper, they could have drowned. It is noted that there were many tourists on the bridge at the time of the collapse.

Local police, disaster response teams, and residents of the village promptly arrived at the scene. Rescue operations are currently underway.

Earlier that day, a helicopter carrying six crew members crashed in India. According to ABP News, seven people were killed in the helicopter crash. It was noted that there were more people on board than the capacity provided for.
