Russian bodybuilder Yulia Rodina died in Thailand. This was announced on June 15 by athlete Natalia Markelenkova on her Instagram page (owned by Meta, a company whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
"Our athlete Yulia Rodina died tragically. Yulia got caught in a deadly rip current on Phuket's Bang Tao beach," Markelenkova wrote.
It is specified that the incident occurred on June 13. According to Markelenkova, doctors tried to save their homeland for 24 hours, but could not.
