In Turkey, more than 30 tourists were injured when pleasure balloons fell.

In the Turkish city of Aksaray, balloons that took off from the Ikhlara Valley made a hard landing due to strong winds, killing the pilot and injuring 31 other tourists. This was reported on June 15 by TRT Haber TV channel with reference to the governor of the region Mehmet Ali Kumbuzoglu.

"Unfortunately, our pilot got stuck under the basket and died. Our tourists are in good condition. We took them to the hospital by ambulance. They are undergoing an examination," Kumbuzoglu was quoted as saying by the TV channel.

It is specified that a similar incident had already occurred with a balloon, which also took off from the Ikhlar Valley. He made a hard landing near the village of Belisyrma in the Guzelyurt region, as a result of which 12 Indian tourists received minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Earlier, on June 9, The Indian Express newspaper, citing local police, reported that at least six people were killed and as many injured when they fell from a moving train in the Indian state of Maharashtra. A police spokesman said that all the victims were taken to the hospital, six of them died. According to him, the victims were between 30 and 35 years old.
