Israeli attacks on oil and gas industry facilities in the Persian Gulf may lead to an expansion of the conflict zone. This was announced by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi on June 15.

"Moving the conflict to the Persian Gulf is a strategic mistake, and its goal is to take military action beyond the borders of Iranian territory. Any military development in this region can affect the whole world, and we hope that the international community will take measures to stop the crimes," the Shana news agency quoted him as saying.

He also noted that Israel had crossed a line under international law by attacking nuclear facilities. Araqchi called it a serious violation.

According to the IRNA Telegram channel, the Isfahan oil Refinery continues to operate. There were no incidents or attacks. All equipment at the factory is working properly. The company's employees continuously continue to produce and supply fuel to the country.

Earlier, on June 14, Israel struck a facility servicing the South Pars gas field in southern Iran. A fire broke out at the Fajr-i-Jam oil refinery, where the South Pars gas field is located. It was also reported that an Iranian ballistic missile hit an oil refinery in the Israeli city of Haifa.

On June 13, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the task of the military operation attacks on the Iranian nuclear infrastructure. In response, Iran launched several waves of missile attacks.
