Iran reported the death of eight more IRGC commanders after Israeli attacks


Eight more commanders of the Military Space Forces (VKS) of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, elite units of the republic's Armed Forces) died as a result of Israeli attacks. This was announced by the IRGC on June 15.
"We mourn the loss of eight of our commanders who died along with Brigadier General Amir Hajizadeh during the Israeli attack," the Telegram channel said.
As a result of nighttime strikes on an underground command center in Iran on June 13, the former commander of the IRGC Air Force, Amir Ali Hajizadeh, as well as the commanders of the drones and the air command of the IRGC Air Force, were killed. The next day, on June 14, Majid Mousavi was appointed commander of the IRGC Air Force.
On June 14, two deputy chiefs of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces were killed in Israeli strikes. Prior to that, on June 13, Iran confirmed the deaths of IRGC Chief of Staff Hossein Salami, Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces General Gholamali Rashid and atomic scientist Fereydoon Abbasi.
On June 13, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the task of the military operation attacks on the Iranian nuclear infrastructure.
