Canadian forward of the Florida Panthers hockey club Brad Marchand scored 13 goals during the Stanley Cup Finals, setting a new goalscoring record in the National Hockey League (NHL). He scored the decisive goal on June 15 in the fifth match of the finals series against the Canadian club Edmont Oilers.

In the game, Marchand scored a double, thanks to which Florida won with a score of 5:2. In total, the hockey player scored six goals in the current series. The Florida Panthers' 5-2 victory over the Edmont Oilers was reported earlier in the day. It is clarified that among the winners, strikers Brad Marchand, who scored a double, Sam Bennett, Sam Reinhart and Eta Luostarinen scored goals.
