Peskov answered a question about progress in Russian-American relations.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in a conversation with journalist Pavel Zarubin, called Russian-American relations "Augean stables that will take a long time to clean up."
This is how he answered the question about what prevents the advancement of Russian-American relations at a faster pace.
"Don't forget that there is still a lot of inertia. <...> And, let's just say, the Augean stables of our bilateral relations are too dirty to clean them up for a long time," he said in a video posted on Zarubin's Telegram channel on June 15.
