Two teenagers drowned in Krasnoyarsk Territory in one day

During the day, two teenagers drowned in the Ilansky and Boguchansky districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The tragedy occurred on June 14, the Main Investigative Department (GSU) of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region reported.
It is specified that the first incident occurred near the village of Lovat in the Ilansky district, where a 15-year-old teenager drowned in a lake. According to the agency, a group of children came to the reservoir unaccompanied by adults.
"The minors decided to swim to the depths, the oldest of the company, a 15—year-old teenager, swam after them, but drowned because he could not swim. This morning, the body of the deceased child was discovered by rescuers," the GSU IC reported on the Telegram channel.
On the same day, another incident occurred: a boy drowned in the Boguchansky district on the Chuna River. Three teenagers were swimming on a makeshift raft, but due to worsening weather conditions and strong winds, waves rose on the river, as a result of which the children had to jump off the raft.
"Two of them managed to swim to shore, and a 13-year-old boy disappeared under the water. The teenagers were in the pond without adult supervision," the agency added.
It is noted that the investigative authorities are examining the scene and conducting search activities. The circumstances of the incident are being established.
On May 24, it was reported that a seven-year-old girl drowned in the Tuguztemir River in Bashkortostan. As a result, the deceased child was found 100 m downstream.
