The administration of US President Donald Trump plans to ban or restrict entry to the country for citizens of 36 more countries. This was reported by The Washington Post (WP) on Saturday, June 14.

The new list of countries that may be subject to visa bans or other restrictions includes 25 African States, as well as countries in the Caribbean, Central Asia and several Pacific island States.

"An internal memo sets a 60-day deadline during which countries subject to sanctions must meet certain requirements, otherwise they will be banned from entering in full or in part," the material says.

According to the newspaper, the memo has already been signed by United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Earlier, on June 5, Trump signed a decree banning citizens of 12 countries from entering the United States. By this decree, the American leader completely restricted access to American territory for people from Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, the Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen and Haiti.
