The US Department of Defense congratulated Americans on Flag Day with a picture with a tricolor

The US Department of Defense on Saturday, June 14, congratulated fellow citizens on American Flag Day by posting a photo showing the Russian tricolor.

"Let's honor the emblem of our nation and the stars and stripes that unite us all. When we fly the flag of our nation and reflect on the values it represents, let's celebrate the freedom, courage, and resilience that make our country great," the U.S. Defense Department said in a statement on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The American flag is located on the side of the image, and the tricolor is right in the center.

On May 21, The Washington Post (WP) reported that more than 20 tanks, 34 horses, 50 helicopters and several thousand soldiers will take part in the parade in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States Army. At the very end of the event, those present will see a parachute jump performed by soldiers of the parachute brigade of the US Armed Forces, which is called the "Golden Knights".
