Three people were killed and two injured in an accident in the Stavropol Territory.

In the Stavropol Territory, three people were killed and two others were injured in an accident involving Lexus IS, Hyundai and Lexus RX cars. This was announced on June 15 by the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate for the region in the Telegram channel.

"As a result of the car accident, the driver of a Hyundai car, a 70-year—old resident of Ipatovo district, as well as his passenger, and the driver of a Lexus IS died from their injuries at the scene," the department said.

As a result of the accident, the 70-year-old Hyundai driver, his passenger, and the Lexus IS driver were killed on the spot. The 69-year-old Hyundai passenger and the 43-year-old Lexus IS passenger were taken to a medical facility with injuries.

Later, traffic inspectors found that the accident was caused by the 46-year-old Lexus IS driver, who had previously been deprived of the right to drive a vehicle. He has also been brought to administrative responsibility twice for traffic violations over the past two years.

An investigative team is working at the scene of the incident. All details and circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
