Two children drowned while swimming in Perm region


Two children drowned in the Sylva River in the Kungursky municipal district of Perm Krai. This was reported on June 14 in the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.
"An eight-year-old boy and an eleven-year-old girl were on the Sylva River beach. Being unattended by adults, the children entered the water on their own, where they drowned," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.
It is specified that rescuers found the boy, he was handed over to the ambulance crew, but it was not possible to resuscitate him. The search for the girl's body continues.
Investigators are examining the scene, interviewing eyewitnesses and ordering forensic examinations.
The UK urged not to leave children unattended and explain to the child the rules of behavior when bathing.
Earlier, on June 2, an 11-year-old boy drowned in the Ussuri River in the city of Lesozavodsk in Primorye. It is known that the child was swimming without adult supervision. The UK has opened a criminal case.
