Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated his American counterpart Donald Trump on his birthday, noting the personal relationship between them that allows them to resolve current issues. This was announced on Saturday, June 14, by Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.

It is noted that the conversation between the leaders lasted 50 minutes.

"Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the established personal relations, which allow them to communicate openly and in a businesslike manner and seek solutions to topical issues on the bilateral and international agenda, no matter how complex these issues may be," Ushakov said at a briefing.
