Rosaviatsia, together with the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, is investigating the reasons for Turkish Airlines' non-carriage of baggage on several flights between Antalya and Vnukovo. This was announced on June 14 by the agency's representative Artem Korenyako.

Earlier, information spread online about hundreds of Russian tourists who arrived in Moscow from Antalya without luggage. It was noted that people had to stand in line for several hours to file a statement about the loss of things.

"The airport has increased the number of employees in order to process passenger requests for baggage search more quickly," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Korenyako noted that the situation is under the control of the departments.

It is clarified that the Turkish airline was advised to resolve the issue of baggage delivery to Moscow as soon as possible and adjust its loading technology to prevent similar situations in the future.

Later, the press service of Vnukovo Airport noted that the lost baggage of a number of flights will arrive from Istanbul at 22:20 Moscow time.

"The air carrier informs that the baggage from flights TK3024, TK3152, TK3140 and TK1231 will be delivered today by flight TK4911, which is scheduled to arrive at 22:20," the airport's Telegram channel said.

It is noted that a Boeing 777 aircraft is used for transportation.

The press service of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) reported on May 26 that Turkish Airlines temporarily canceled flights to Moscow amid restrictions imposed at the capital's airports. It was clarified that up to 60% of flights did not arrive on schedule or were canceled.
