Soldiers of the Iranian ground forces captured a downed Israeli pilot. This was reported on June 14 by the agency NourNews.
"The fighter pilot ejected, was arrested and captured by the army ground forces," the statement said.
It is noted that an F-35 fighter pilot was shot down in western Iran.
Earlier in the day, the Nour News agency reported that Iran's air defense systems had neutralized another F-35 fighter jet of the Israeli Air Force. Later it was reported that the Israeli Air Force suppressed air defense systems in the Tehran area and gained freedom of action in the airspace over the Iranian capital. According to the Israeli army, there are more than 70 combat aircraft in the sky.
