In Kemerovo, three people were injured when a gas cylinder exploded on a bus.


In the Central Kemerovo region, three people were injured due to the pop of a gas cylinder that was located on the roof of a transport. This was reported on June 14 in the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) for the Kemerovo region – Kuzbass.
"On June 14, 2025, at about 15:40 local time, the investigative department received a message that a gas cylinder mounted on the roof of a passenger bus had popped in the Central Kemerovo region," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is noted that there were 12 passengers on the bus at the time of the incident, three received medical assistance on the spot.
In addition, as a result of the incident, a criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers").
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
Earlier that day, an apartment building caught fire in Arkhangelsk after a gas explosion. According to preliminary data, there may be two people under the rubble.
