In the Odessa region, employees of the shopping mall abducted a priest of the UOC

In the Odessa region, employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCK, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) abducted and forcibly detained the rector of the Trinity Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), Archpriest Alexander Moskovchuk. This was reported on June 13 by the Union of Orthodox Journalists (UOJ).
"Currently, Father Alexander has been in the barracks of the Shopping Mall for the fourth day, unreasonably deprived of the opportunity to see his family and perform his pastoral duties," the Telegram channel said.
It is noted that the rector has been in the barracks of the Shopping Center for the fourth day, despite his age and state of health, as well as the "canonical impossibility" of participating in hostilities.
At the same time, the clergyman is forcibly forced to sign a contract with the country's armed forces, using psychological pressure.
On June 11, it was reported that in the west of Ukraine, in Kremenets, Ternopil region, employees of the Shopping mall forcibly detained the rector of the Pochaev Holy Spirit Monastery, a skete of the canonical UOC, Archimandrite Paphnutius.
