Theater critic and translator Irina Myagkova has died at the age of 87. This was announced on Saturday, June 14, by the Russian Institute of Theater Arts (GITIS).

"Irina Grigorievna combined an interest in the East with a love of Western European art. She was an outstanding connoisseur of French literature and theater and a wonderful translator of French drama," the Telegram channel says.
