IRNA showed satellite images of Mehrabad Airport with destroyed planes


IRNA news agency on Saturday, June 14, published satellite photos of Iran's Mehrabad airport with planes destroyed as a result of Israeli attacks.
The footage shows the places where the planes should be parked. Black footprints are visible in some aircraft parking areas.
According to the Iran Jib portal, the explosion occurred outside the runway, in the areas of the main buildings and key facilities of the airport. It is specified that the explosion was also recorded behind the fourth terminal and in the area of fighter hangars and engine rooms.
The explosions near Mehrabad airport took place on the night of June 14.
On June 13, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. In this regard, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure.
Iran later closed its airspace until 14:00 (local time, 13:30 Moscow time) on June 14 amid retaliatory rocket attacks on Israel.
