"We express our gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for its support in providing transport from the Azerbaijani-Iranian border to Baku, accommodating the group in a hotel and assisting in the return of our citizens to their homeland," the message says.

It is noted that in addition to Russian citizens, the group also included citizens of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tajikistan.
