The death toll from the crash of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner of Air India has increased to 274 people. This was reported on June 14 by NDTV TV channel, citing sources.

"As a result of one of the recent plane crashes in India <...>, at least 274 people were killed," the article says.

It is specified that among the injured were passengers, crew members on board, as well as local residents who were on the territory of the aircraft crash.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the remains of 270 victims had been recovered from the crash site.

The plane crash in Ahmedabad, India, occurred on June 12. There were 242 passengers on board, including two pilots and 10 flight attendants. A Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crashed into a dormitory building for doctors. According to NDTV, the cause of the crash could have been a collision with birds. One person survived the plane crash, a 40—year-old British citizen.

Later, on June 13, in Ahmedabad, India, investigators found one of the two black boxes at the crash site of the Boeing 787. The second black box in the front of the aircraft has not been found at the moment.
