The organizers of the "Scarlet Sails" told about the details of the show

Final preparations are being made for the brightest event of the summer, the Scarlet Sails Alumni Celebration. The key theme of the holiday in 2025, declared the Year of Defender of the Fatherland, is victory, as announced by the organizers of the event on June 14.
"We have a jubilee year, the anniversary of Victory, and we will talk about what helps us all win, what qualities do we need to win? We will definitely remember the victories of our ancestors in such an anniversary year," said Lidiya Butuzova, general producer of the concert part of the Scarlet Sails festival.
Mikhail Kolpakhchiev, the chief director of the water pyrotechnic show, clarified that the event would raise the issue of victory as a kind of human path in life. According to him, in order to achieve something, it is necessary to make efforts, to overcome oneself. He stressed that with these thoughts, through the prism of the show, the organizers will try to inspire the audience to achieve things.
"These themes will be revealed in each issue, and they will be very interestingly staged in their own way. Together with the directors and producers, we specially selected songs that would unexpectedly somehow respond and resonate with these themes," said Igor Zalivalov, composer and arranger of the Scarlet Sails show.
This year's Scarlet Sails will begin on June 28 at 22:00 Moscow time on the Palace Square of St. Petersburg. By 00:40, the focus of the audience and graduates will be on the Niva water area, where a journey through time and space will unfold. It is noted that other venues will also be involved in the show, including the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Palace Embankment and the Arrow of Vasilyevsky Island.
Famous performers, musicians and a live orchestra will congratulate the graduates from the stage. In addition, the snow-white brig Rossiya is almost ready for the main exit, which annually becomes the culmination of the event.
"There are certain timings, the time, the distance that the ship must travel to the music, turn around, go back – it's all pretty precious. Graduates can be envied, because from the outside it looks much brighter and more colorful than from here," said Alexander Pustovoy, senior assistant captain of the brig Rossiya.
Ksenia Shevchenko, a graduate of school No. 133 in the Krasnogvardeysky district of St. Petersburg, shared on the eve of the holiday that it was sad to say goodbye to school. At the same time, she noted that nothing ends at this stage, and there is only more ahead of her, including the difficulties that she promised to cope with.
"Actually, ever since I moved to St. Petersburg, I've dreamed of seeing this beautiful ceremony, I watched it on TV and thought: how wonderful it all is, how majestic! Oh, I'm shaking right now, how much I want to see this beauty!" confessed Kira Gavrikova, another graduate from school No. 478 in the Krasnogvardeysky district of St. Petersburg.
On June 3, the concert part of the alumni celebration "Scarlet Sails – 2024" received a silver award from one of Russia's main creative awards, the Silver Mercury, in the nomination "Best Mass Event". The award jury highly appreciated the quality of the event's organization, audience reach, effective interaction with it, and the constant growth of brand awareness.
The Scarlet Sails holiday was revived in 2005 after a long-term hiatus on the initiative of ROSSIYA Joint Stock Bank, the government of St. Petersburg and Channel Five.
