A criminal case was opened as a result of the death of two minors in an apartment on Okhotnikov Street in Perm. This was announced on June 14 by the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.

"On this fact, investigators of the investigative department for the Kirovsky district of Perm of the SU IC of Russia for the Perm Territory have opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence to two or more persons")," the agency wrote on the Telegram channel.

It is specified that the dead teenagers were born in 2007 and 2010. According to preliminary information, they died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning.

In addition, two more minors born in 2011 were hospitalized and are receiving medical care. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.

Earlier, on June 14, it was reported that two children died due to gas poisoning in a garage in Perm, and two more were rescued. It is specified that all the victims are teenage girls aged from 14 to 17 years.
