The crew of the T-72B3M tank of the 44th Army Corps of the North group of forces struck a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kharkov area of the special military operation (SVO). Footage of the work of Russian military personnel was shown by the Russian Defense Ministry on Saturday, June 14.

The enemy's stronghold was discovered by aerial reconnaissance, then the coordinates were transmitted to the tank crew. Having received the task from the command, the tankers reached a hidden firing position, aimed at the coordinates they received and fired several rounds of high-explosive fragmentation ammunition. The distance to the target was about 5 km.

"The first shot is a sighting shot, and then two or three shots, depending on the target. If there is a dugout, a fortified area, in principle, two or three shells are enough, and that's it," explained the crew commander with the call sign Bonya.

The stronghold was successfully eliminated. The tank crew decided to change position and continued to carry out combat duty.

"The crew is quite promising, very well-coordinated, I am very pleased with them, I am very proud of them. I have a gunner from God, a Schumacher mechanic. The most important thing in the crew is coherence. This is 50%, even 70% success rate when going on a combat mission," Bonya said.

Earlier, on June 10, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the crew of the T-80BVM tank of the Center group of forces destroyed a cluster of Armed Forces personnel in the Red Army area of the SVR.
