Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Saturday, June 14, called on the people of Israel to stop the military aggression against Iran and condemned the actions of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

He compared Israel's actions to Nazism.

"History repeats itself. Then Hitler was allowed to occupy Czechoslovakia and Poland. Today, they are silently watching the destruction of Gaza and now the attack on Iran," Maduro said. The speech was broadcast on the president's YouTube channel.

Maduro expressed disappointment with the position of Western countries and stressed that only a multipolar world based on a dialogue of civilizations and respect for international law can stop the threat of a new world war.

On June 13, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. Later, the Islamic Republic launched about 150-200 retaliatory missile strikes. As a result, 63 people were injured, and another 300 Israelis were evacuated.
