The media reported on the White House's review of contracts with SpaceX

The White House has instructed the US Department of Defense and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to study information about SpaceX's contracts for the production of space technology. This was reported on June 13 by the Reuters news agency, citing its sources.
"The White House has instructed the Department of Defense and NASA to collect detailed information about billions of dollars worth of SpaceX contracts after a public quarrel between US President Donald Trump and American businessman and billionaire Elon Musk," the agency reported.
According to Reuters sources, the measures were taken to prepare retaliatory actions against Musk.
"Representatives of the Pentagon are simultaneously considering whether to reduce the role that SpaceX can win in the ambitious new US missile defense system," the agency stressed.
The White House and other US agencies have not commented on the true purpose of this assignment.
Earlier, on June 3, Musk criticized the draft budget proposed by the White House, calling it an abomination. Later, on June 5, Musk publicly supported the idea of impeaching Trump. The president, in turn, wrote that terminating contracts with Musk is the best way to save money in the US budget. At the same time, Tesla shares fell sharply.
