Emergency power outages occurred in Dagestan due to rain and wind


In Dagestan, emergency power outages occurred in three districts of the republic due to rain and wind. This was reported on June 13 on the website of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
"A message was received from the dispatchers of the EDDS (unified duty and dispatch service) of the Tsuntinsky, Akhvakhsky and Tlyaratinsky districts that an emergency power outage occurred due to short-term rain accompanied by gusty winds," the statement said.
It is noted that more than 7 thousand houses with a population of about 40 thousand people, 12.9 thousand of which are children, fall into the emergency shutdown zone. There are also 188 socially significant facilities in the zone.
15 people and five pieces of equipment from the unified State Emergency Prevention and Response System (UES) will be involved in the restoration work.
On June 1, an emergency power outage due to bad weather occurred in Chuvashia. Four brigades, 12 people and four units of special equipment took part in the emergency recovery work.
